BABY NEW YEARS PLASTIC WORLD Plastic Pollution Series RESIST publication

This painting is about the plastic pollution found in the bellies of birds (Albatross families are nesting off the N.Pacific coast) these birds are found 200 miles away from any human life form. Usually plastic bottle caps, bottles, straws, plastic bags, fishing line and things that can not be recycled or that escaped the recycling process are washing along our shores. The plastic is mistaken for food by these birds and being feed to their babies(mouth to mouth) as parts of broken down plastic particles floats on top of the oceans surface.
